Surfing eBay is a blast. Where else is the bulk of crazy, off-beat knock-offs and hacks at just a quick type and tap of an enter key?

Super Mario Brothers... on the Genesis!

When I worked retail a few years back I used to have those parents that came in. The majority of those questions were inquiring about new Mario games coming out for systems they already had... none of which were Nintendo systems. So I had to sit back, hide the pain of the migrane that they were giving me ("I KNOW that damn Mario game is on the Playstation, just sell it to me already!") and keep telling them "no, there isn't a Mario game on the PS2."

But I forget how resourceful the gaming community is. I haven't played this hack, nor can I confirm it's not just a complete hoax, but I've seen stuff similar to this before so I can't rule it out. If only the Genesis was a viable gaming platform in stores when I sold software, I could've just told them to check the almighty eBay... *le sigh*

*EDIT*: It seems as though that seller is selling all kinds of bootlegs and hack-ups... there's a Wario game on his page, a Genesis Harry Potter game, and one titled "Tekken VS Virtua Fighter." I LOVE eBay sometimes!
