Lucky me?
Posted on Friday, September 12 2008 @ 09:48:22 Eastern

Well I got a call from a local high school here, and they said that they have an opening for a social studies class and were wondering if I was available for an interview tomorrow!

So, damn, excited right now. I just got my certification a week ago and now I might actually have a job, even though the market is bad and I have been looking for one (illegally) for the past four months, sending resumes and discussing positions with people all over New York.

Let's hope it goes well...I really hope it goes well. Getting this job would justify the hard work of not only graduating college, but also from my own front of looking for one and dealing with the bullcrap that goes with it, plus the unseen circumstances of the witholding of my degree and my certificate.

So I hope I get the job. For now it's a longshot, but it's better than no shot.
