FEATURED VOXPOP oblivion437 Update: I was unfortunately not aware of Shamus Young's severe criticism of Fallout 3 available here to link in the original piece and I regret that.  It dovetails rather nicely with what I've written and it's much better executed than my piece.  I strongly recommend anyone...

Going to colosal con.
Posted on Monday, June 1 2009 @ 05:40:01 Eastern

This Edition of my blog entails what is on the road ahead for Cleveland's eighth Colossal - Con, from the Kalahari Water Resort...

I am honestly a huge fan and have been looking forward to Colossal - Con for quite sometime, around December, as a matter of fact, and I am just going to be blown away at the amount of time put into it, like I was last year. This year is shaping up to be amazing, having tons of voice actors from famous Anime shows, as usual. However, the voice actors, aren't exactly what I'm so hyped up about...

If anything, its...Go figure, the games! The games that they have in store, are looking to be promising, with a lot of extras as well, but lets just dive into how the games are shaping out, shall we?

It's right off the bat, kind of hard to entice or embrace the games that may be there, considering on their official website (colossalcon.com), that if you click on the the subsection, "Game Room", you get a line of text saying that more info is coming soon. With that being said, I can only predict what will be on tail....

Well, for the Playstation Gamers, I'm sure that there will be some form of God of War available. Which, by the way, I happened to download onto my PSP via PSN, and I got to say, I am quite entertained whenever I play, primarily because there is an endless count of ways to destroy all targets. I am just a huge fan all over.

If I don't see a Rockband, or a Guitar Hero, I must say, I will be dissapointed heavily, because that is what attracts people, and from a business perspective, those types of games are a neccesary component for true gaming. Even if it is some kind of demo, fans will be lining up for it, mark my words.

Also, I am predicting a good outcome from the Nintendo Wii, as that has many games that have yet to still be released, and with Nintendo Wii's already impressive line up of games out, including Mario titles such as Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Party 6, and many others, it would NOT do the Wii right if there is no form of Mario there. With that being said, I believe that a nice Wii Fit or Wii Sports may be there, just to keep things going.

Also, look for Microsoft XBOX to have their typical Halo, or Assasins Creed. However, Microsoft is in the same posistion as Nintendo, with new releases set to come out. One of their most hyped games is Afro Samurai, voiced by Samuel L. Jackson. I must say, that the game does look entertaining...

Well, I'll be back later, after my visit to Cleveland's biggest Video Game, Anime, and Comic Book convention of the year! Stay Tuned!
