The recent blog, Peace in the Era of Call of Duty  really made me think about war games that dig deeper than simply a kill streak reward. The first game that came to mind was Spec-Ops: The Line and although I haven’t played it, I began to wonder if it did the war genre as...

NiFe's Thoughts.

Hello Gamers! This will be a weekly blog, where I just chime in on random articles on the Video Game World!

First up, the latest buzz going around is a possible Nintendo Wii 2 in the upcoming years. My thoughts? If the first is so successful, why not do it again? History tells us thats the way to go, citing the Ps2, and the 360, or even Nintendo's own Super Nintendo. Sequel consoles have been the greatest thing- mainly because, I own a Ps2 and Super Nintendo. If the good proverb 'Strike while the iron's hot' Ever stood true, then right now is the time. If Wii 2 in fact does come out, I think it's going to shake up the gaming industry by a whole bunch, meaning that a possible 'Xbox 540' could be released, or even a Ps4, who knows?

Street Fighter IV is going to be released this summer, and let me tell you, I can't wait. I am a huge fan of the SF series, and IV will be no different, hoping that they have the basic characters of course. I have been anticipating another SF game for quite sometime, and we'll have to find out if the PC version can live up to it's hype.

Speaking of sequels, A Grand Theft Auto IV sequel is already in the works entitled 'Chinatown Wars'.  I will most likely be purchasing this game, and who knows? maybe write a possible review on the game? Hm?....

Now, not to condone the actions in ANY GTA game, you do have to admire what Rockstar has done. They took a very low point in society, and exploited it, and made a ton of cash off of. In all of the GTA games, you pretty much shoot up a town, rob cars, and blow things up with various weapons, and let me tell you, as if you need to know, that can be satisfying. It is, however, up to you to control real life from gaming life if you understand...

Im out for now, so until next time, be sure to comment, and Keep On Rockin!
