Huzzah!
Posted on Sunday, November 2 2008 @ 14:04:02 Eastern

Well, it's back. My 360 has returned from the bowels of Microsoft Tech Support (the Sydney branch, apparently) and is now once more plugged into my TV.

Pity I can't find the bloody batteries for the controller anymore. We redistributed them when the 360 was sent in. No sense to waste good rechargables.

However, I did purchase a Charge Pack for one of the controllers, which came with a charger cable, so I can still play the thing. The pack itself is rather low, but with the cable that's not much of an issue.

The first thing I played when I got it back? Gears of War.

I did notice while playing that it is louder than it was before. I think they dropped in a MOACF (Mother of All Cooling Fans).

Oh, and in a couple of weeks when I have the cash for it, I may pick up a copy of Saints Row 2.
