Yesterday, while cleaning up my media center, I found my copy of Ratchet & Clank: Into The Nexus, which I bought sometime before Christmas last year. I had been pretty excited about this game pre-release, what with it being the first "traditional", albeit shorter than usual,...

It dead
Posted on Tuesday, September 30 2008 @ 01:32:25 Eastern

Yeah, my Xbox 360 has officially kicked the bucket and been afflicted with the dreaded RRoD. That makes its official lifespan 9 months.

Still, I had some fun with it in those 9 months.

In that time, I have played Gears of War, Halo 1 and 2, Ghost Recon :Advanced Warfighter, The Orange Box, Stranglehold, Geometry Wars, Rainbow 6: Las Vegas, Bioshock, Forza Motorsport 2 and a lot of other great games that I would otherwise have not been able to play.

Still, I didn't get a chance to play one of the games for the 360 that I would have liked. Oh, well. I got this 360 from a relative at MS, perhaps I should enquire about a replacement, or a repair.

Oh, and I played CoD4 for the first time today (PC version, it was at an internet café). New profile, 2 hours of time bought.

I pretty much spent the entire time on the same server. Near the end of the time, I had a match of Wet Works (or whatever that map on the ship is called), playing as S.A.S. with a Woodland camo Skorpion. Precision Aim, Heavy Hitter and (though I didn't use any in this match) C4 x2. I had gotten Skorpion Marksman I in a previous match.

Second-highest scoring player, highest for my team. 92 deaths, too. Quite shocking to everyone on the server, myself included.
