She fell for it!
Posted on Thursday, December 25 2008 @ 01:23:38 Eastern

Well, as stated in my last blog I had done a 'trick' with my mother's gift, and I am glad to say that it worked like a charm.

What I did is that she had asked for a particular book, even going as far as to tell me when said book was on sale.

So, I got her that book.

But, in order to make sure she was surprised when she opened the gift, I found a book on her bookcase that looked almost exactly the same as the one she wanted. I then took that one off and wrapped it. I then took the book I bought and put it unwrapped on her shelf.

She never saw it coming.

Oh, and sorry about the lack of update on the comic, I was busy with my Christmas 'swag', as it were. I got Red versus Blue Season 2, a box of candy and a case full of Coke cans, so you can see how I got distracted.
