LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

Everything I Learned About Call of Duty: Ghosts Last Week
I wasn't allowed to talk about the new Infinity Ward game last week when I met with Activision, and I don't have much to say now that Xbox One spilled the beans.

I Beat Persona 3!
Posted on Thursday, June 21 2012 @ 10:58:44 Eastern

SPOILER WARNING

The last JRPG I finished... and I mean, completely finished, end credits and all.... had to be... Final Fantasy VII. There were later games before that, but it feels like over a decade since I last played a JRPG to completion.

That changed last night when I saw the credits roll on Persona 3 Portable. I bought the game the same week I got my PlayStation Vita and have been chipping away at it sporadically when I had time. The airport, the bathroom, the couch. I can't believe how engrossed I was with the title. It's rare a game can hold my attention for 10 hours much less the 70 P3P got out of me.

So the credits rolled, I felt really good, and then I read some stuff online that suggested the protagonist actually dies at the end. What the **** is that ****? I'm just going to ignore that and say that I just closed my eyes and then opened them and partied with my friends. OK?

Now you have to play Persona 4 Golden. Meanwhile, you might want to check out Persona 3 FES on PS2 for the extra ending "The Journey". But that would mean BEATING IT AGAIN! [Just a reminder to write a blog entry for the $20 monthly contest we've going on now. wildmario's got this locked up, because he's the only valid entry so far.]

You can start The Journey without beating The Answer first. But I wouldn't recommend it, because The Journey SUUUUUUUUUUCKS.

@Nick & HorriblePerson too I read the plot summary for The Answer online and I won't be playing it. I already don't like the suggestion that the MC dies at the end of The Journey, I'd like to believe me and the gang are hanging out at Hagakure right now.

That's a sweet thing to think. It's wrong, but it's still sweet.

The extra chapter on the FES version is actually "The Answer", not "The Journey" ("The Journey" is the main story you already know). Also, you don't have to play "The Journey" first if you decide to give "The Answer" a shot.

So, Daniel, should I sign you up for a pre-order of P4G or Persona 5? :P
