Hold Z while running to go faster.

Easy Home Runs:
When batting press the B button to use the power hit. Then position the yellow box that shows where your bat is going, right below the pitch dot. When the pitch comes press up on the D-pad and A at the same time and you should always hit a HR with the power hitters and a lot of long fly balls with the weak hitters.
