Then enter these cheats while playing the game:

s 		View all stars
l 		View all starlanes
c		View galaxy status
i 		Finish current project
o 		Max planet population
shift-m 	Add 1 to max population
t 		Colonizes a planet 
r		Bring alien colony under control
