Do a research to make current structures more effective.
Scout the area you want to attack first. You will get a report on the forces and defenses that are awaiting you in your message inbox.
You are immune from attack for five days, which should give you plenty of time to build up your army.
Joining an alliance to help defend your city from attack is not a bad idea as well.
Enlisting units will take up the resources your plants, greenhouses, and other buildings have earned. This is how you build up your army to defend your city and attack other players out in the game.  Above is some examples of the types of units that you can enlist in the game—you’ll want a good mix of these units to be able to take on your opponents.
In World View you are able to view surrounding areas for attack. By touching them, you have the option to scout and attack.  By scouting the area first, you will get a report on the forces and defenses that are awaiting you in your message inbox.  Always scout an area first unless you are absolutely sure of victory, or you may see your army wiped out by a force that you did not expect to be so large.
You are immune from attack for five days, which should give you plenty of time to bulk up.  Mind that you build a solid force through the training grounds, but also do not forgot to build up your defenses around your city.
Try to find buildings or equipment that take the least time to be ready. Leave the time consuming ones for when you’re taking a break. It's best to early on, focus on building up your military.
Attacking surrounding plots is better than attacking other players at the begining.
