Play as Roll:
At the Character Selection screen, highlight Zangief and press Left (2), Down (2), Right (2), Down (2), Left (2), Up, Right, Up (2), Right (2). Roll will appear to the right of Mega Man.

Play as Alternate War Machine:
At the Character Selection screen, highlight Zangief and press Left (2), Down (2), Right (2), Down (2), Left (2), Up (4), Right (2), Left (2), Down (4), Right (2), Up (2), Left (2), Down (2), Right (2), Up (5). He'll appear above Zangief.

Play as Shadow Lady:
At the Character Selection screen, highlight Morrigan and press Up, Right (2), Down (4), Left (2), Up (4), Right (2), Left (2), Down (2), Right (2), Down (2), Left (2), Up (2), Right (2), Up (2), Left (2), Down (5). She'll appear below Gambit.

Play as Alternate Venom:
At the Character Selection screen, highlight Chun-Li and press Right, Down (4), Left, Up (4), Right (2), Down (2), Left (2), Down (2), Right (2), Up (4), Left (2), Up. He'll appear above Chun-Li.

Play as Alternate Hulk:
At the Character Selection screen, highlight Chun-Li and presss Right (2), Down (2), Left (2), Right (2), Down (2), Left (2), Up (4), Down (2), Right (2), Up (2), Down (4), Up (4), Left, Up. He'll appear above Ryu.

Note: If you access the extra characters by inputting the codes above, you will NOT be able to save them to your VMU.

Extra character Quick Selects:
Complete the following tasks in Arcade mode to unlock the secret characters without entering the above cheat codes. Challenge and beat the extra characters to unlock them as playable characters. This method allows you to save the characters to your VMU...

Alternate Hulk
- Beat 3 opponents with a super combo.

Lilith Morrigan
- Beat 3 opponents with a super combo.
- Must use up all your helpers in at least 2 rounds.

Alternate War Machine
- Beat 5 opponents with a super combo.
- Two of them must be the Duo team-up attack.

Roll
- Beat 5 opponents with a super combo.
- Two of them must be the Duo team-up attack.
- Must use up all your helpers in at least 4 rounds.

Alternate Venom
- Beat every opponent with a super combo.
- Four of them must be the Duo team-up attack.
- Must get the first attack every round.

Shadow Lady
- Beat every opponent with a super combo.
- Four of them must be the Duo team-up attack.
- Must get the first attack every round.
- Must use up all your helpers in evey round.

Onslaught:
To unlock Onslaught, unlock all the extra character Quick Selects.

Pick Your Helper:
Select your first character. Then, before you select your second character, hold start. Now push and hold the following buttons to select your helper character. You must hold the buttons down until the helper is selected.
