So much more than war...

The recent blog, Peace in the Era of Call of Duty  really made me think about war games that dig deeper than simply a kill streak reward. The first game that came to mind was Spec-Ops: The Line and although I haven’t played it, I began to wonder if it did the war genre as...

Madden NFL 25 (iOS) Cheats

Tips and Tricks

Swipe the blue line whenever the offense throws a pass. This is one of the most effective ways of playing defense. You’ll knock down the ball almost every time, and your chances for an interception are best ever. You don’t have to swipe ON the blue line, you just have to swipe on the screen when the blue line shows up. The line will turn orange if you did it right.
When you are on offense and you call a passing play, watch out for defenders running a blitz package on you. Back up, run to the side (but don’t cross the line of scrimmage, obviously), get away from the defense. Run to the side that your intended receiver is on for a clearer shot with a higher chance of a complete pass.
If you need to get more coins or experience points quickly, but you don’t have enough energy to play an entire game, go back to the old challenges and beat them all over again. Each one only costs 1 energy apiece, and they finish far more quickly than a whole game does.
Flip your playlist over to “pro” for a whole bunch of unorthodox plays.
While it’s better to run playoff and season plays on your own, switching it to sim mode in exhibitions makes the game go by much more quickly. This is useful if you are just trying to play for coins and experience.
Use the auction menu to get rid of your old cards and make more coins. There’s no point in keeping them around, but getting rid of them can earn you a nice bit of coins.
Save up for a Gold Starter Pack. They cost 50,000 coins to get. Gold card packs contain 10 gold cards, which will instantly increase your team’s rating massively – unless, of course, you already built up your team using the gold cards, or using even better cards, such as platinum, legend, or ultimate cards.
Solo Challenges earn you gold, platinum, legend and ultimate cards for FREE when you complete them. Auctions are a great place to buy cards at a discount. Bid on them like you bid on auctions on eBay – bid when there is very little time left. If you see a crazy low “Buy It Now” price for the quality of the card, go for it. Auctions are also a great place to find cards that are better than gold cards, for a surprisingly low price.
