Playstation 2

Full Health:
Pause the game. Now hold L1 + L2 and press Down, Up, Down, Up, Right, Left, Circle.

Increase Sword Hardness:
Pause the game. Now hold R1 + R2 and press Right, Right, Left, Left, Down, Up, Circle.

Increase Brightness:
During play, hold L1 + L2 and rotate the Left analog-stick in one direction several times. Your eyes will flash, illuminating the area around you.

Unlock VS. Mode:
At the title screen, hold L1+L2 and press Square+Circle. Alternately, kill Dojima, the sword smith.

Unlock Vs Mode (Japanese version only):
At the title screen, hold L1+R2 and press Right + Square.

All Vs Mode Skills (Japanese version only):
During a Vs Mode battle, pause the game. Now hold R1 and press Left, Left, Right, Right, L1, L1, L2, L2, L1, Right, Left. The equipped sword will have all skills now. For two-player games, both players must enter the code

Switch Characters (Japanese version only):
Highlight the name for the main player on the Character Select screen. Now press L1, R1, L2, R2, L2, R1, L1, Left, Left, Left, Left, R2 + Square. Now press left or right to pick a character
