Extra costumes:
Beat Musou mode with any character. Now at the Character select screen, choose that character using Y.

Power names:
Create a new general and give him one of the following names for the desired stat increase:

Play as Goemon:
Beat Okuni's campaign.

Play as Keichi Maeda:
In Kenshin Uesugi's story mode, at the Siege Of Gifu, do not eliminate Keiji Maeda. Then beat the game.

Play as Kunoichi:
Beat Hanzo Hattori's and Shingen's campaigns.

Play as Magoichi:
Beat any campaign.

Play as Nobunaga Oda:
Beat Oichi's, Magoichi's, and Noh's campaigns.

Play as Noh:
Beat Ranmaru Mori's campaign.

Play as Okuni:
Beat Keiji Maeda's campaign.

Play as Ranmaru Mori:
Beat Mitsuhide Akechi's campaign.

Play as Shingen:
Beat Sanada's campaign.

Use the Death element on your weapons:
Using a created character, find every volume of "The Book of Five Rings."
