The U.S. Army has received a distress signal from Area 51 where a viral outbreak has just shut down the research facility and the automated quarantine procedures have locked all scientific and military personnel inside. A small Special Forces unit including Specialist Ethan Cole of the HAZMAT (hazardous materials) Division is sent to investigate. As Cole, players delve into the massive levels within the confines of Area 51, only to discover a deadly mutagenic side effect of the virus that controls the minds of those infected, as well as an ancient alien colony buried beneath the facility.

Ethan Cole speaks about his trip into Area 51, try out this demo to frag some alien baddies. Ethan: "My teams missions was to rescue missing Army Hazmat squad. They went into Area 51 and all contact was lost. When we first arrived, we found horrors beyond imagination. Mutated humans, aliens and shadow conspiracies. As we descended into this hell, my teammates were killed...one by one. I escaped death, but in that fight for survival I became infected. I was changed. As my powers grew, my humanity died. In the end I was left to complete this mission...alone."
