EVE Online: Apocrypha Full Client v1.5 (Offline Installer) 08/22/09
Eve is a massively multiplayer, online game that lets you play as a member of five different races as you explore, build, and form coalitions to protect your empire.
EVE takes place 20,000 years in the future. Humans have constructed a jumpgate in a wormhole named EVE. After many humans colonize the dimension on other side of the wormhole, the gate explodes, denying the humans contact with Earth. In the panic that ensues, many of the new colonies are destroyed, technology and knowledge lost. For thousands of years the colonies struggle and finally they regain all that they had lost. The only problem is that each of the colonies has formed different factions and races.
During Apocrypha 1.5 we identified and fixed several potential causes for client-server simulation desync. Additional work in this area for Apocrypha 1.5.1 revealed the root cause of the remaining desync issues. We believe that we have now fully eliminated desync issues as related to the physics simulation. More on this in an upcoming Dev Blog. It is now possible to shoot objects that are 0 meters away with turrets, and hit them (this is still subject to tracking.). A server side issue has now been fixed that was causing node deaths.
Everybody went out and got it. Tons of people stood in line in the middle of the night to get it. Millions are still playing it, as we speak. Yes, obviously I'm talking about Call of Duty.
