Buy, Try, or Die: February 2014

Posted on Wednesday, February 5 @ 12:00:00 Eastern by

February is the start of a great video game season. GameRevolution already has reviews for the remake Fable Anniversary by Alex Osborn and for the extraordinary homage to old-school RPGS, Bravely Default, by Heath Hindman. Also expect a review for him for the lastest installment in the saga of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII which should probably stop so that the team can place their attention on Final Fantasy XV.

In the back half of this month, there's a quartet of strong titles leading into the crowded, joyfully hyperactive month of March: Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, which Daniel has written multiple previews for; Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2; Thief, which I believe looks promising from what I played; and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. I'm not sure that's such a great title with the weather that's been happening all over America, but let's hope that doesn't affect the game's sales too much...
