I don't always try to get work done in advance, but when I do, it backfires like a mother. The Last Guardian The team behind ICO and Shadow of the Colossus never fails to excite me. Seeing the new footage, albeit short, was riveting. This is definitely among my most anticipated games right now. After being absent from the Tokyo Game Show, some were worried, but the wait appears to have been worth -- [Update: It has come to my attention that this game was not at E3. This article was written before E3 and based upon the fact that there'd be no reason to not show the game. It's been something like two years since we've seen any sort of progress, and assuming these are professionals here, a lack of E3 presence after so long would be inexcusable. Even an announcement such as "It won't be at E3" would be taken as a hilarious joke. I retroactively apologize.] Final Fantasy Versus XIII What a show-stopper this was. Patience is a virtue, and Nomura's crew deserves credit for doing what Dr. Dre recommends by "takin' my time to perfect the beat".
