I wish I could say that there's a lot coming out this week, but unless you like re-releases (i.e. Thumper) on the Nintendo Switch or playing Fire Emblem on 3DS, then things aren't all too exciting.

In anticipation of Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood's launch, I'm busy running through some of the later Heavensward story missions. Without completing them I won't be able to review Stormblood, which would be a problem. That's right. Unless you have completed every main story mission in Heavensward, you can't even progress into the next expansion. Sound familiar? Well, this was the same case for Heavensward, resulting in many upset players.

Nonetheless, I enjoy Final Fantasy XIV. It's pretty, has plenty of attractive content, and takes fan service seriously. If only the gameplay wasn't so slow-paced...
