Fallout 76 Type-T Fuse

Fallout 76 Type-T Fuse Locked Door – How to Get In

Looking for that elusive Fallout 76 Type-T Fuse but can’t quite get through the door blocking your way in the early-game quest An Ounce of Prevention? Trust us, you’re not alone. The “Collect a Type-T Fuse” step looks straightforward enough, and even points you in the general direction of the Type-T Fuse location, but it’s easier said than done when it comes to potentially unlocking the door and getting inside the house. Here’s how to get the Fallout 76 Type-T Fuse.

Fallout 76 Type-T Fuse – Location

You’re going to want to head to Greg’s Mine Supply which is to the south of Morganstown. The building you want, and the one that’s marked as the exact location for the Type-T Fuse is off limits thanks to a locked door. So, you’re gonna have to get creative. And by creative I mean head down an underground tunnel, natch.

Across the street from the building is a house with several white picket fences strewn across the front lawn. Head around the back of said building to find stairs leading down to a basement. Mercifully, this door isn’t locked, so make your way through the underground tunnel and back across the street via the excavated route.

Once you make your way up into the house, you’re going to want to head upstairs (watch out for Scorchers!) and turn right into a pretty messy-looking room, filled with bricks and boxes. The box you’re looking for is a yellow wooden crate that contains the Type-T Fuse on your immediate right-hand side. If you’e lucky, it may also contain a frag grenade to help make your escape a more explosive one.

Hurrah! All done! Now, get the hell out of there before more Scorchers turn up. You can make your way back through the underground tunnel if you want to play it safe and on to the next part of the quest.
