However, the Promised Neverland episode 2 release time for English subs works a little differently. Here’s when you can watch The Promised Neverland episode 2 subbed in English today, January 17.

While many will have fallen into the trap of the debut anime airing every Wednesday, it appears that Crunchyroll will only be airing the premiere (i.e. episode 1) on Wednesdays. From now on, you should look to Thursdays for your The Promised Neverland fix.

That means that The Promised Neverland episode 2 air date is set for January 17. As for the time? Well, it is a litle uncertain: CrunchyRoll, as per this Reddit thread, says it’s simulcast on Wednesdays at 4:00 PM CEST, which, if you don’t know your time zones off-hand, equates to 9 AM Pacific/12 PM Eastern/5 PM GMT. But, as we’ve seen above, there’s slight misinformation going around.

CrunchyRoll’s site simply hasn’t been updated to reflect the changes and the premiere was, indeed, an anomaly. Going forward, expect The Promised Neverland English subs air date to follow the trend set down below.

While there hasn’t been a confirmed release date, CrunchyRoll, by and large, airs its content at 8:30 AM Pacific/11:30 PM Eastern/4:30 PM GMT and we shouldn’t expect things to stray from that path today.
