The Division 2 PS4 Aiming Bug | Why is my character blurry?

The Division 2 PS4 aiming bug is causing players to look at blurry characters after they enter and leave their shoulder aim mode. It’s preventing people from seeing their characters in high definition, which is off-putting when the rest of the game is in pristine HD. Learn if there’s a Division 2 PS4 aiming bug fix with our help.

The Division 2 PS4 Aiming Bug

The Division 2 PS4 aiming bug isn’t a new problem that Ubisoft Massive have to solve, but it has reared its head since the Tidal Basin update went live earlier in April. As we mentioned, players are finding that their playable character appears blurry after they’ve entered and exited the over the shoulder aim mode in-game.

This might not seem like a huge deal to some, but it’s a problem that has annoyed quite a few PS4 players. Threads on The Division 2 forums have popped up requesting that Ubisoft Massive look into the issue, and try to find a fix for it as soon as possible. These threads have posted screenshots and video footage of the problem, and it’s hoped that Ubisoft Massive can now solve it with a better understanding of the issue.

The Division 2 PS4 Aiming Bug

There was a Division 2 PS4 aiming bug fix, but that solution doesn’t appear to be a long-term fix for this problem. Before the Tidal Basin update, you could solve this error by entering photo mode. By doing this, your character model would revert back to high definition (HD) from standard definition (SD) as photo mode only worked with the former’s graphical output.

Since the patch, however, even entering and exiting photo mode isn’t solving the bug. Players are finding that their characters, weapons, and other items are no longer being shown in HD. Ubisoft Massive are on the case though, as detailed by this post from community manager Ubi-Mark, so fingers crossed there’s a fix soon.
