It’s always surprising to see a group of older games highlighting the list of monthly downloads. However, that seems to be the case for the PlayStation Store July downloads, for the PS4 anyway. None of these games released in 2019, yet they are still topping the list. Perhaps the biggest surprise is Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2, however, this is likely due to the upcoming sequel.

  • Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition
  • Grand Theft Auto 5
  • Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2
  • Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege
  • Star Wars Battlefront 2

PSVR

The world of VR is still growing, so there aren’t too many games releasing for the PSVR. For that reason, it shouldn’t be a big surprise to see Beat Saber and Superhot VR at the top of the list, as they are some of the most beloved VR games out there.

  • Beat Saber
  • Superhot VR
  • Vacation Summer
  • Five Night’s at Freedy’ VR: Help Wanted
  • Job Simulator

Free-to-Play

  • Fortnite
  • Apex Legends
