So how about all these (My words shitty even though thats not exactly true) devs making a mini pc gaming drought while we finally wait for them to release the pc versions.

Resident evil 6, didn't even start pc development until it was done on consoles and now by a different team.

AC3, 21 day delay on pc version.

Ok so i'm bitching. I can appreciate it if it means a more polished version with better features(Like AC3 getting dx11 and txaa which is nice) but its a sad day when my friends are playing new games and I can't really say much.

I cannot relate. I've still got plenty of games keeping me busy on PC through this little thing I like to call "massive Steam sales backlog."

The Thief series, SimCity 4, Civ IV, Rome: Total War, Amnesia, and Ghostbusters. That's what's more-or-less staring me in the face, but I'm also distracted by Torchlight II and Skyrim.

Don't get Simcity 4. It's almost as bad as minecraft at making you lose hours. WHY WONT YOU MAKE MONEY?!
Fuck it. Time for speed cameras and parking fines.

I'd also like to point out you can ENB series and bigger textures a ton of older games. San Andreas is a good example, which becomes probably the best game ever made once the graphics stop looking like ass.

Also, Kerbal Space Program. Seriously. Grab the demo version, get used to the controls/physics, then grab the latest version with spaceplanes and spend the next 48hrs attempting to create one you can actually control.

My problem is I tend to play most games as they come out and I spent most of the summer draught replaying games.

Thank you for the Kerbal Space program. Looks like something new that will keep me entertained while I wait for new NFS.

The graphical options in AC3 are worth the wait imo. That's a next-gen engine for sure.

An Ubisoft game being delayed for the PC is pretty much par for the course with them...Not really sure how you can support them as a PC gamer.

Support?
Oh, you assume we actually give money to Ubisoft/Activision/EA as PC gamers.
Nope. Remember when that shitty version of SecuROM was getting around with the install limit? I still to this day have securom games sitting on an old HDD i've never even bothered to install. I just wanted to add onto that little 'times downloaded' number.

Thankfully, PC games tend to have long lifespans. I can play Dota 2 for the next year without ever growing bored.

The best cure is to get a second platform. I just bought a 3DS and my PC is collecting dust for the next week or two.

If Forza 3/4/Horzion was released for the PC i would have no reason at all to use anything but my rig.
Actually, i'd probably sell my entire current setup including TV and buy myself a nice low power using HTPC and energy efficient 50" LED.
