It's really goofy and slow at first, but I actually like where it went. I'll for-sure keep watching.

I caught up. That was awesome!
MC looks slightly silly in some shots though. Slowly stomping down hallways, for example. But I think they're trying to show him through the cadets' eyes. He's this hugely imposing legend to them. His voice also sounds off, but maybe I just haven't played Halo 3 in awhile.
Once it got to the firefight, that odd posture stuff all changed. MC jumping through the air in slow-motion made me realize how perfect that armor really is. That shot looked exactly like a CGI promo for any of the games.
I would watch a tv series based on this, for sure.
Oh, and is anybody else as interested in the really vague Cortana shoutings that open each episode. Those are super compelling. You know she's waking Chief next episode. They need to use that exact footage to start Halo 4. |

Well, the ship MC was riding on in Halo 3 was called the "Forward Unto Dawn." I do enjoy Cortana freaking out, because you know something is dangerous.
