Just mere months ago I couldn't even imagine myself doing what I did today, but it happened.
I got a 3DS. I guess I couldn't live without Layton.

So, I haven't been following really closely what has been happening on the 3DS gamefront. I know there's some sweet remakes and couple Marios floating around, but is there some great gems I shouldn't miss out on?

Personally, if I ever decide to get a new Nintendo DS, it will be the XL one (non-3D).

I never thought of the 3D as enhancing any gameplay experience. Well, at least, not for me and not on a handheld device.

I'm not much into the 3d effect either and using the effect is completely optional in most games, but Nintendo seems to be focusing more on bringing games to 3ds. I'm not sure how long the regular DS will be getting new titles.

Sorry son Layton > FFT

I'm really liking the new Layton game so far. Neat little upgrades to the basic formula.

I'm not the biggest fan of Final Fantasy, but there seems to be a demo on the marketplace, so I'll try it out. Thanks for the suggestion.
