3DS XL?

It's not that I have no love for a 3DS XL. I just have no money. Small screens don't bother me. I can play games on an old Nokia phone. :p

I'm really liking my 3DS XL. Giving it more love than my Vita at this point, which is really saying something. Kid Icarus is miles better now that I can see what I'm doing.

I've got a 3Ds but I'm honestly tempted to buy a 3Ds XL (I'm a sucker, I know). In the past I never had a DS and went straight onto the DS XL and I loved it. The bigger screen was nice and since I've got big hands, the XL was very comfortable to use. I'm thinking the same thing for the 3Ds XL.

My only concern is that they still didn't add a Goddamn right analog stick to the 3Ds XL and we'll have to buy the XL version of the Circle Pad Pro. Damn you Nintendo.

I've got a question though... is it possible to transfer your downloaded games (or at least re-download them for free) from your old 3Ds to your new 3Ds XL? Also, if you're a member of that old "Ambassador Program" thing... can that be transferred onto your XL?

So... I got a 3Ds XL yesterday. A silver one. $229 AUD. Better than the original $350 AUD the 3Ds came out for... >_<

I really like the XL. With the original 3Ds, I was unhappy at the size. I've got big hands so, it felt uncomfortable to play. The XL feels a lot better in my hands and I enjoy the bigger screen, even if it makes games a little stretched or/and pixellated.

Thanks danielbischoff for the advice on transferring data. I transferred all my data and Ambassador Program stuff from my old 3Ds to my new. I ended up giving my old 3Ds (more so lending) to my brother's girlfriend, because now we're all playing Pokemon Black and White 2 (I got Black version). Razz

I've been thinking about trading my 3ds for an XL....They're just so damn small compared to the DSi XL, which is about perfect size for me.

Yeah I had the same problem, and the XL fixed it so that's why I'm evangelizing it on the boards.

I'm really enjoying my 3Ds XL. At the moment though the only game I'm playing on it is Pokemon Black and White 2 (Black version), but I'll be going back to Resident Evil: Revelations soon.

OKAY FINE.

I figure it's about time to lay down some money on a new DS, even though I really don't have much money to spend... Getting Christmas money has made me a little ambitious... So I'm getting a 3DS, and everyone has convinced me to get an XL. I'm still not convinced it's the right choice for me, but I'm going to take a leap here. Someone hold my hand.

I don't want to make a whole new poll thread, even though that would basically be like doubling my thread count, so here's the Question

of the moment: Red or Blue?

Deep down, I want it in the purple. I'm crazy about purple, and it's powerful enough to tempt me into getting a 3DS instead. Rrrgh. So, what do, GR?

Just to keep up to date, I think it's going to have to be blue, because places have the christmas bundle version that comes with Mario Kart 7, and that was only released for the blue one, I guess. Whatever. I actually was leaning toward red, in my heart.

Hopefully snagging it tomorrow with a combination of mad secret deals that are better than whatever kind-of sad Boxing Day sales Best Buy etc. was offering. Dealz, you might say.
