My brother wants to pick up the New Super Mario Bros. We borrowed it off a friend for a weekend while my mate was away. It's pretty much... the same game, but still fun.
I'm really tempted to pick up a copy of Batman: Arkham City for the Wii U. I'm also secretly hoping Far Cry 3 gets released to the Wii U but it probably won't. |

New SMB U looks so much fun as multiplayer. But I imagine if I were to play it solo I'd feel so lonely.

You're right. Playing solo is... okay, but it's not nearly as much fun without other people. The game is especially fun - and extremely hectic, when you got five players - four players as Mario, Luigi and the toad's, with one player on the gamepad, either helping or being a massive troll. |

NSMBU has been far more enjoyable singleplayer than I expected. I haven't played it in multiplayer yet.

Single player isn't bad. Personally I enjoy it because I love the original Super Mario Bros. on NES. I can understand why some people may not like it.
Multiplayer is either going to be great fun with your friends, or very, very chaotic... which could be fun.  |

| Having played New Super Mario Wii for the... Wii. I could tell you having even one other player is chaotic. Especially if that player is hostile, steals all the power ups, or block a landing so you'll fall into the pit. I can't imagine what it'll be like having another player with the tablet creating blocks who is also hostile and put random blocks on top of your jumps. Something about Nintendo co-op games that turn people into assholes. |

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...
