My vote

Dishonored (new IP, not just a company recreating/reskinning the same experience)

XCOM (I love strategy games, even though Journey was fantastic)

When it came time to pit Corvo and Connor against each other, we knew it'd be a knock down drag out fight, but this was a nailbiter for the Assassin order. Would the young up-and-comer be able to sneak up on the New World's hooded hero? Before we could find out, it was time to tally up the votes for Journey and fan favorite X-COM: Enemy Unknown.

Despite an early lead, X-COM couldn't keep the red cloaked figures in the desert from teaming up with the alien threat. X-ray down? Apparently those sounds the Journey-people make mean "I don't think so!" Journey moves on to our Final Four, 25-8.

In the beginning it appeared as though Corvo and the Dunwall gang would use their magic powers to hunt down and kill not just the Templars, but the Assassins too. With voting halfway done, the two games sat nearly even, with Dishonored just ahead by a few votes. Late-comers Chunibrow, mouths, and usaglory weren't having it though, voting Connor and Ubisoft into the lead. In the final stretch, Corvo appeared to be sneaking up on a white hood. Just as Corvo was about to strike he got hit in the head with a tomahawk and died. Assassin's Creed III makes it into our Final Four, defeating Dishonored, 17-16.

With that, only two spots remain in the final round. Who will it be? Vote in the comments for the following two match ups. We'll be deciding GameRevolution's Community Choice Game of the Year soon!

Sleeping Dogs VS Guild Wars 2

Mass Effect 3 VS The Walking Dead: Season One

http://www.gamerevolution.com/manifesto/goty-community-choice-final-four--tag-tournament-16595

In the final pairings of our semi-final round, The Walking Dead faced off against Mass Effect 3 while Sleeping Dogs fought with Guild Wars 2. Sleeping Dogs used it's environmental hazard combat to deal Guild Wars 2 and the Lion Guard a fatal blow. In fact, I think there are still chunks of Charr fur in that air conditioning fan over there. Guild Wars 2 left reeling with a 28-7 loss.

The real action in this rounds voting was between The Walking Dead and Mass Effect 3. Both narratively heavy games had their supporters and detractors. For much of the early voting, the two were neck and neck. Once again, the game that secured the forum votes also secured the win. In succession, used44, Gunner37, Bretimus_v2, WickedLiquid, Wes, and HK-47 voted The Walking Dead best brains this year, forcing Commander Shepard and company to pack it in.

Apparently, a two front war was too much for the Normandy crew. After this 24-14 defeat, Mass Effect 3 joins Guild Wars 2 and our other losers: X-COM: Enemy Unknown, Dishonored, Max Payne 3, Halo 4, Retro City Rampage, Persona 4: Golden, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, Borderlands 2, Hotline Miami, and Civilization V: Gods & Kings. Our final four move on to do battle NOW!

Once again, only vote for one game in each match up below. Our finalists will face off on Monday, throughout rewards week, until a winner is crowned on Friday along with GameRevolution's Game of the Year.

Journey VS Assassin's Creed III

The Walking Dead: Season 1 VS Sleeping Dogs

Sleeping Dogs

That second matchup should have been the finals.
