So, my laptop isn't the greatest. My laptop isn't booting up now. All i get is black screen with an LED light blinking by my caps lock. Anyways, before that I would get a message before it booted up about my internal battery needs replaced. Didn't actually think it would matter. Anyhow, I am guessing that's why my laptop won't run. Correct me if I'm wrong, because I'm not a PC guy.
So, i was thinking about getting a new laptop/desktop this year already. If you guys can help, I am looking for something $700 or less. _________________

Some laptop architectures will work directly off the AC, while others just charge the battery. I know my current laptop will not work at all without a battery plugged in, even if it's plugged to the wall.
Now internal battery could also be the watch battery that holds your BIOS settings. That's a pretty easy fix, and always useful later. Since it gives you a message, I would say the laptop in general works. So replace the BIOS battery would be my first step. |
