| I haven't decided yet, but I think my next GPU upgrade will be the next card series (8970 or 780). |

SO my only real option ended up being an Asus Direct CU II... Not the TOP edition, the AMP was open box, and I just don't like open box.. I'm sure it'd be fine but it just bugs me.
Great thing about computer parts is if this doesn't impress I can just swap it for something else. Gonna put it in after I eat.
I heard the Direct CU II TOP had stability issues, but heard nothing bad about the regular one and I can OC it to where it's stable myself. Same card besides clock speed.
Had to spend an extra 60$ but oh well.
edit: I had the card on my lap when we went through the drive through for dinner after work. The GF was like it's his birthday can you give us a toy or something?
The guy was like "He's got a GTX 670 in his lap he doesn't need another toy"
I lol'd _________________ The above statement is true

Play the Witcher 2 maxed out with uber sampling at 1080p. _________________

Wow must be some card. I know Frozen has the same card and it doesn't get consistent fps and sometimes gets a little choppy. How many fps do you get? _________________

i havent really been in any super intense situations yet on it, but it's silky smooth where i have played. i'll give it a shot now and get into something a little more busy and see how it handles it.
edit:
without ubersampling its a steady 60 FPS with everything else maxed/ultra
with ubersampling it never drops below 30 and sits around 40 the majority of the time.
i wouldnt bother with ubersampling though as I don't personally see a difference really _________________ The above statement is true

Still, 30-40 is pretty respectable. It isn't like you're playing at 2k or 4K resolution with 120Hz displays. I've been meaning to try it out since before my upgrade it would be sliightly choppy. Nothing game breaking but I'm sure my CPU was the bottle neck.
Anyways, I already have a Witcher 2 topic so...Glad you love the card! It's definitely going to last you a while. _________________
