I love you guys. I thank you for all the words and advise. I got my cat's ashes tonight. That seemed to help a bit with the grief process. My friend will still always be just a text or call away. As for the divorce, I will look at this as a liberating experience.

It was nice seeing De-ting at her viewing. Scarred the poop out of everyone, but it was nice. An animal friend is always the toughest, specially when it's your best friend. To this day, I miss my cat, Smokey. Such an awesome cat. Like you mentioned, I consider the GR community as my second family. I know that sounds bizarre, but it's the truth. Hang in there, Paradox.
