Middle Mouse button messes up Windows Explorer?

For some reason when I click in the middle mouse button on the second time it will bring up the "Windows Explorer has stopped working. Restart, or close program?"

Well if I hit X it shows windows explorer hasn't really stopped working, yet the middle mouse click will still do the same thing. Over, and over again. Until I click restart the program, it closes explorer, brings a new one back up, and problem solved.

Any ideas why this might be doing this? Also I know the mouse is failing, because it will double click stuff sometimes. However failing mouse shouldn't cause explorer to stop working.

I guess failing mouse is failing too hard.

Your mouse or your driver might be causing the problem. I'd try using a different mouse first, if you have one.

However, with my experience, this could also be a malfunction of your graphics card.
