By shandog137
Posted on 03/09/15
The recent release of Evolve and The Order 1886 really got me to thinking about the disparity between the perspective of sales-driven publishers and the quality-driven purchases of consumers. The “Hype Train” is nothing new, but the way it is utilized has been creating far more...

Why it's always so hard to choose the favorites? That list could probably change daily.

Not sure why nobody mentioned ICO. That was an amazing game and so far Shadow of the Colossus is too with its various ways of defeating the colossi.

As for films (not in particular order)

The Shawshank Redemption
Robin Hood: Men In Tights

The Princess Bride

The Man in the Iron Mask

Batman

I didn't like the Princess Bride.

To be fair, I watched it for the first time at age 22, so there wasn't any sort of childhood attachment to it for me.

I still didn't think it was very good though.

Old Spice Wolfthorn body spray

I've never bought an aerosol body spray before, but I'm tempted to start right here. Smells like dark citrus.

Fresh roasted peanuts

Salt, peanut shells, hearty aromas. What's not to like? Getting a buzz from huffing on peanut fumes out of a paper bag -- possible? Hope not.

Bvlgari Man

When your adult sensibilities need a chance to shine. Smells like progress.

Bath & Body Works Pearberry body lotion

Smells like I'm getting lucky tonight! Tastes great!

Polo Sport

Old faithful. Been rocking it for years. Smells like ... soap? Soap with a bite.

lemme throw a shout out to mint, coffee, irish spring soap, and all the rest!

1. Rain on hot pavement...My favorite smell made even better because of its fleetingness and scarcity. It has to be a hot day in the city (or a paved over area in the suburbs), but then it has to get cloudy and start raining. And then, it only last a minute or two...

2. Coffee brewing

3. Fresh cut grass

4. Gasoline

5. Freshly washed & dried linen

top 1 most hated smells
old, small parking garage elevator lobby, 5th floor @ 711 Elm St. Dallas, Tx

One way up, one way down, tight quarters all around. How hasn't this parking garage been condemned? Smells like piss and beer.

Top 5 Favorite TV Shows Ever

King of QUeens

Dexter

Home Impovement

Law and Order : SVU

The Cosby Show

Boring list of shows is boring, I know.

King of queens and Dexter are by far the top 2, the other three are just ones that work for me, about 30 other shows I could put up as their equals. Just the first that came to mind.
