Following the article on the homepage (http://www.gamerevolution.com/news/zelda-as-main-character-saving-link-comic-author-makes-pitch-for-new-legend-of-zelda-18609), I thought we could make our own Zelda, as I'm curious to see what kind of changes people would want...if they want them that is!
So let's make a Zelda game yaaaaaay.

Main protangist to be Zelda? Maybe a whole new Link? As in a guy wearing different coloured fatigues. Should he have a gun instead of a sword? A fucking lightsaber, beam katana or otherwise i.e Link in the FUTURE?! Anything is possible here!

I had a thought thinking it would be cool to have a bit of co-op. Not two players (maybe, but I think that would suck), but have Zelda and Link save the world. Zelda is meant to have a piece of the Triforce, yet she's a fucking useless wench who gets captured all the time. And as far as I'm concerned, all the Wisdom part of the Triforce offers is the power to open gates and shoot Light Arrows. I'd like to see that develop.

Let me know your thoughts!

I think a futuristic zelda would be pretty sweet. Think Chrono Trigger - that worked well.

In a post-apotalyptic world, one man will have to overcome the massive pot-genocide caused by the evil-doer Link and his pot-finder fairy Navi and that man is Ganondorf. With help from the princess Zelda, Ganondorf will go throughout the broken clay kingdom fixing any pot he can and helping many clay folk along the way. With help from his magical tools 'kiln' and 'caulk' Ganondorf will undo the massive pot-genocide that Link has caused.

Agreed. Forget about a year without Mario. How about a year without Link.
