At Gamescom, Microsoft detailed their 23 launch day titles (but still not a release date, stupidly). Are you planning on getting any on day one? Have you preordered them yet?

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag (Ubisoft Montreal, Ubisoft)
Battlefield 4 (EA DICE, Electronic Arts)
Call of Duty: Ghosts (Infinity Ward, Activision)
Crimson Dragon (Grounding/Land Ho!, Microsoft Studios)
Dead Rising 3 (Capcom Vancouver, Microsoft Studios)
FIFA 14 (EA Sports, Electronic Arts)
Fighter Within (AMA Ltd., Ubisoft)
Forza Motorsport 5 (Turn 10 Studios, Microsoft Studios)
Just Dance 2014 (Ubisoft Paris, Ubisoft)
Killer Instinct (Double Helix, Microsoft Studios)
Lego Marvel Super Heroes (TT Games, Warner Bros. Interactive)
Lococycle (Twisted Pixel, Microsoft Studios)
Madden NFL 25 (EA Sports, Electronic Arts)
NBA 2K14 (Visual Concepts, 2K Sports)
NBA Live 14 (EA Sports, Electronic Arts)
Need for Speed Rivals (Ghost Games, Electronic Arts)
Peggle 2 (PopCap Games, Electronic Arts)
Powerstar Golf (Zoe Mode, Microsoft Studios)
Ryse: Son of Rome (Crytek, Microsoft Studios)
Skylanders: Swap Force (Vicarious Visions, Activision)
Watch Dogs (Ubisoft Montreal, Ubisoft)
Zoo Tycoon (Frontier Developments, Microsoft Studios)
Zumba Fitness: World Party (Zoƫ Mode, Majesco)

I'll definitely be getting Battlefield, Peggle 2, and Dead Rising.

Microsoft waited too long to change their policies. I wanted the Kinect not required mostly, but that was the last thing they changed. Maybe next year when Halo 5 is announced.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag (Ubisoft Montreal, Ubisoft) - Going to buy this on PS4, but it would be an excellent game to own on Xbox One at launch.

Battlefield 4 (EA DICE, Electronic Arts) - Even though Microsoft's been trotting these guys out on stage (probably because Xbox/EA but also because BF doesn't want to compete with Killzone on Sony's system. I'm still going to get it on PS4.

Call of Duty: Ghosts (Infinity Ward, Activision) - Because it's Call of Duty and it's Xbox.

Crimson Dragon (Grounding/Land Ho!, Microsoft Studios) - I still feel bad for the audio problem.

Dead Rising 3 (Capcom Vancouver, Microsoft Studios) - Looks really cool, but I'm hoping to learn more about the game before buying it.

Forza Motorsport 5 (Turn 10 Studios, Microsoft Studios) - Can't buy every game. Sorry Forza, you're cut.

Killer Instinct (Double Helix, Microsoft Studios) - The only reason to preorder an Xbox One. Pretty much the only exclusive they could have revealed to get me on board. I don't really get those excited chills like I used to as a kid, but I did when the loud voice started yelling at Microsoft's press conference. It was crazy to be there and in the middle of the whole thing too. One of my favorite announcements in covering video games. It was like falling into the pages of that old Nintendo Power magazine and experiencing 1998 E3

Peggle 2 (PopCap Games, Electronic Arts) - Please don't let addiction take hold again, if it does I'll just have to 12 step it with GTA V.

Ryse: Son of Rome (Crytek, Microsoft Studios) - Could not give two craps about this game. It looks absolutely terrible.

Watch Dogs (Ubisoft Montreal, Ubisoft) - Probably gonna get this on PS4, but it'll be a really cool launch title, I'm convinced. I think I'm going to have to stay away from the current-gen version no matter what though.

The most exciting thing on that list is Peggle 2 for me. That and Forza 5, but Forza 3 annoyed me in the latter stages when the races just became ridiculously long...took 30 mins to finish one race within a season and it was just too looooong.
Ryse looks *TOO* cinematic for my liking. I actually dont like the looks of the gameplay, in a way it looks boring because all you do is press buttons at the right time.

I would never, ever bother with that.

They got rid of that in Forza 4. I liked it though.

Haha, we will never talk.

I find marathon races fun, even though the longest I did was 2 hours. I had to have my own playlist going for me to last that long though.

Dead Rising 3 looks pretty tasty thinking about it. I got bored of 2 pretty quickly though, dont know why to be honest. It was a good game, but I hated the constant timer. I felt I was in a rush all the time when I just wanted to roam around and kill zombies with awesome weapons.

Crimson Dragon is a spiritual successor to Panzer Dragoon? Why haven't I heard more about this?

You literally haven't heard more of it because the sound cut out during the Xbox press conference for the entire part featuring this game.

I don't know where to post this (too many Xbox One threads), because I just want to get my prediction out before they announce a launch date in the future
http://www.gamerevolution.com/news/xbox-one-may-be-releasing-on-november-8th-21209
Anyways, I said the 19th or 22nd. It's going to be one of those dates. I'm actually leaning towards the 22nd, but that's way too close to Thanksgiving. I don't think Microsoft actually cares about how close to Thanksgiving it is, as long as it's a week after PS4. So, definitely leaning towards the 22nd the most. That is all. -UghRodamus

You don't get cool points for predicting things on the internet.

I predict November!
