#30
God of War III

GR’s Report Card
Chris_Hudak

A-
+ Walloping, Epic, action-packed story
+ Outstanding overall presentation
+ Basically seamless gameplay-to-cinema transition
+ Constant, flawless integration of button-press events
+ Some intriguing 'takes' on the mythology
+ Fluid, accessible, mostly-intuitive control.
+/- Long live the goofy, tame, but-still-better-than-nothing sex minigame!
- You'll want to look around more--but Dramatic Camera says no!
- Rare, but extant, camera/viewpoint issues

#29
Dragon Age II

GR’s Report Card
Nick_Tan

B+
+ Swift, immediate combat system
+ Complex, localized story
- ...that has an extremely weak origin story
- ...and a theme that could be executed better
+/- Complex characters that aren't as memorable
+ Sarcastic dialogue options
+ Improved skill trees and resource-gathering
+ High replay value
- Recycled dungeons
- Glitchy

#28
Little Big Planet 2

Not rated on GR

#27
Halo 3

GR’s Report Card
JP_Hurh

A-
+ As good as Halo 2
+ with HD graphics
+ Multiplayer tweaks and balances
+ Forge and Theatre modes
- No ability to search for custom matches
- Poor friendly A.I.

#26
Assassin’s Creed III

GR’s Report Card
danielrbischoff

5/5
+ Challenging
+ Complex
+ New combat system
+ Amazing weather effects
- "Animus" glitches
+ Questions answered for long-time fans
/ Confusing ending
+ Stabbing people online
+ Stabbing people online together

#25
Batman: Arkham City

GR’s Report Card
danielrbischoff

A
+ I am Batman
+ Grapnel hook and gliding through the city
+ Deeper, varied combat
+ Challenging predator rooms
+ Breathlessly paced story
+ All the villains you could want
+ Side missions and Riddler challenges
+/- Catwoman (for new purchasers)
- Not the biggest open world
+ But certainly the densest

#24
Journey

GR’s Report Card
danielrbischoff

5/5
+ The look
+ The feel
+ The presentation
+ The others
+ The music
- The time

#23
Sleeping Dogs

GR’s Report Card
Nick_Tan

4/5
+ Appreciate the Cantonese (and the swearing)
- ...but the transitions into English are awkward
+ Decent cast of characters
- ...despite lack of character depth
/ Ending slightly rushed, story is good enough
+ Solid melee combat, adequate gunplay
+ Visually impressive open world of Hong Kong
+ Plenty of side tasks and missions
+ Social Hub, including mission replay
- No difficulty setting
- Few game-freezing glitches
- Mahjong poker?! Give me real mahjong!

#22
Metal Gear Sold 4: Guns of the Patriots

GR’s Report Card
Jesse_Costantino

A
+ Smart, ridiculously fun storyline
+ Genre-defining wartime stealth play
+ Top-notch cinematics
+ Vastly improved gunplay and weapons management
+ Beautiful art direction
+ Promising multiplayer

#21
Fallout 3

GR’s Report Card
Nick_Tan

A
+ Spectacular FPS/RPG hybridization
+ V.A.T.S. system
+ Well-integrated skills, perks, looting
+ Best licensed soundtrack ever
+ Beautifully bleak environments
+ Lifelike character models and voicework
+ Stellar dialogue and choice-driven story
+ You cannot deny the awesomeness
- Followers do not follow well
- All 200 permutated endings are too short

I'm surprised Dragon Age 2 and Assassins Creed 3 made it this far.

Well AC3 DOES have a 5/5. I haven't played it but with a perfect rating I can see how GR got it so high.

I just realized...

You didn't count my joke list, did you? The one with Assassin's Creed 3 and Dragon Age 2 really high up?

Because that was the only time Assassin's Creed 3 even came up.

Did you mean Assassin's Creed 2 and make a mistake? That would make WAAAAAAY more sense.

Same with Dragon Age 2. The only person who had it on their list was Links. Did you mean Dragon Age: Origins?
