So who actually got an Xbox One? Just me and Daniel?

If you got one, post your Gamertag here so we can party up and list the games you have so we can influence each other's purchasing decisions and maybe eventually do a Play Date.

Haha, fucking used. I can never exactly tell if you're being sarcastic. I mean, my Xbox One isn't really loud thanks to everything running off the hard drive. Hasn't spun the Call of Duty disc since launch day as far as I know, but it still isn't really quiet. The drive is loud and it sounds like it huffs at me with the fans sometimes.

Haha, I'm being sincere. We even use the satellite feed thru the HDMI-in so the X1 is on for quite a lot of the day (apparently in a low-power state) and it's still dead quiet. Even playing a blu ray or dvd movie is pretty darn quiet.

I have yet to mess with the TV stuff, but I'm dying to. I just don't watch that much TV. When our contract with Comcast ran out the bill shot up so I just asked for the cheapest possible faster-than-I'll-ever-need Internet package which happens to come with local channels and Food Network.

Still, achievements for watching Giada? Hell yes.

I don't know why it bugs me so much that these just sit there every day when I go to work, but it does for some reason. Maybe because it was such a pain in the ass for me to find a 360 when they came out but now the X1 is readily available and I can't afford it nor do I want to buy it yet.

Look at them there, just taunting me, I can hear them laughing at me.

I would be in the exact same situation, Dave, but instead I'm on the opposite side of things. I have an Xbox One and I hate it. Plus I hate myself for giving Microsoft money on launch day. I feel like I need to take a blistering hot shower every time I play the thing. It's not all bad but I do feel like early adopters are gonna get worked over again like with Xbox 360.
