Ever since The Division 2 update version 1.7 on PC, it appears as though quite a few players are experiencing the same The Division 2 Easy Anti-Cheat Integrity Failure. It seems as though the error has only been affecting players on the PC version of the game, crashing at random times during gameplay or crashing before the game fully loads in. Read on to see if there is a The Division 2 Charlie-03 error fix.

The Division 2 Easy Anti-Cheat Integrity Failure | What’s the problem?

The Division 2 Easy Anti-Cheat Integrity Failure

Thanks to this official Ubisoft Support forum thread, we know that there’s more than few players out there encountering the same Division 2 Easy Anti-Cheat Integrity failure crashes. To make matters worse, there’s not just one spot where the game is crashing thanks to the Easy Anti-Cheat failure.

For some, the game is crashing when loading in after choosing a character. For others, the Charlie-03 error message is appearing during gameplay, showing up at different but equally annoying times. It always carries the same error message, however. It appears to be affecting those playing the game on dual monitors, too.

Thankfully, Ubisoft is aware of the problem. Ubisoft is telling players to play The Division 2 with Uplay administrator rights turned on, and if that doesn’t work, Ubisoft is suggesting that you reinstall the game. Both of these are general fixes, however, so if they don’t work for you, don’t be surprised.

There do appear to be workarounds to the bug, so not all hope is lost. If you are playing the game on a dual-monitor setup, try turning off both windowed mode and the second monitor that isn’t displaying the game. If that doesn’t work, you may want to try verifying your game files. According to user xl d0s3 lx, this should work. To verify your game files, follow these steps:

  • Boot up Uplay
  • Head to “Games”
  • Choose The Division 2
  • Click on “Properties” (you’ll find this between “Store” and “Support”)
  • Go into “Local Files” under Properties and click to “Verify Files”

This has worked for some players, but unfortunately, others have found it only offers a temporary fix. Be warned though, verifying your Division 2 game files will take some time. Hopefully, Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment will fix the Easy Anti-Cheat Integrity Failure bug in the next game update.
