Windows 10 Review for Dummies

After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

I think a lot of publishers are reluctant to promote PC instead of consoles because so many gamers know to wait and always expect sales on games. I mean, I'm quickly becoming one of those people. I look at everything that comes out on Steam and I think "I can't wait until it's only $2.50. I'll buy it all then!"

Have you bought a game on Steam and never even installed it? I feel so guilty. Still, this one deal was incredible. What a rush.

Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition for $5.

What's the best deal you ever scored?

Oh yeah that was a great deal. Made an account just for that. I do wish the codes activated on Steam though.

In 2008, we bought the THQ pack on Steam while it was on sale. Over $400 worth of games for $50. I like more of them that I hate, so I'd say it's a win.

Also, subscribing to PS+ when it first came out. That's probably the best deal ever. Sorry, PC master race (unless PS Now lets us play on PC).

Hearts of Iron III Complete for $7.49
Dungeons of Dredmor Complete for $5
Stronghold Collection for $5-7.50, Stronghold Crusader is still one of my favorite games for PC.

And remember picking up Killer7 for $15 in excellent condition, saw it again a few weeks ago and it was $44.99.

Civ 5 for free, L4D2 for free, Portal for free, Mirror's Edge for free, the Fallout games for free. Then there's the free to play games like Path of Exile (Diablo 2 clone) and beta testing a couple games.
