FEATURED VOXPOP oblivion437 Update: I was unfortunately not aware of Shamus Young's severe criticism of Fallout 3 available here to link in the original piece and I regret that.  It dovetails rather nicely with what I've written and it's much better executed than my piece.  I strongly recommend anyone...

So I should be getting paid within the next month and i'm having a hard time to decide what MMO to pick up for my PS4. Since the DC problem I had I can't decide whether to get FF14 or Elder Scrolls online. If you know me you'd know I won't have time once I get into to one to take turns on both plus FF14 is coming soon and elderscrolls is still a little aways. So which one should I pick up when I have the cash?

I hardly know anything about FFXIV, and I think you should choose it.

If you're desperate to play an MMO on PS4 right now, FFXIV is your only option, right?

I've heard FFXIV is a little grindy like most MMOs but highly enjoyable.

I've heard ESO is a chore up until level 10 but then it really finds it's groove.

I've heard both are great fun. So either way you can't go wrong.

I played the beta of ESO and was disappointed. I expected an ES mmo with a Skyrim type leveling system. Knowing it gets better after level 10 I may give it another shot.

I'd say try out FFXIV.

FFXIV doesn't look very appealing to me, while Elders Scrolls Online looks amazing and I don't want to play it because of fears of it taking away my life.

I say wait and go with Elders Scrolls once it comes out.

what level of excited are you? Are you like "School Girl One-Direction Giddy" or more "Looking forward to a good beer" excited?
