But now there are even more players who join as Overwatch League All-Star reserves. These players were chosen by staff, players, coaches, and the broadcasters.

The Atlantic and Pacific divisions each have their own pool of reserves, which correspond to what team they are on just like other sports. While the main roster has already been revealed, here are the reserves:

While the Overwatch League All-Star game is on May 16, the skill games are the day before. These are a list of unusual modes that the players play just for fun, which is a bit like the slam dunk competition before the NBA All-Star Game.

The oddball modes are as follows:

  • Sibling Rivalry: Teams are stacked with three Genjis and three Hanzos apiece.
  • Healers Never Die: All Healers, one-hero limit.
  • Terrible, Terrible Damage: Only Damage heroes, one-hero limit.
  • Keeping the Peace: McCree is the only playable hero.
  • Tiebreaker Map – Thanks, but No Tanks: All Tanks, one-hero limit
  • Talent Takedown: Casters will play a three map set while the Overwatch League players cast the match.
  • Widowmaker 1v1: The best Widowmaker players from both divisions will compete in a 1v1 elimination bracket where only headshots and sniper shots count.

Like last year, this All-Star Game also has special skins for sale. The last patch added a Mercy and Lúcio skin that players can buy with Overwatch League Tokens. You can earn these by paying real money or watching the Overwatch League if you’ve synced your Twitch and Battle.net accounts. These are only on sale until May 22.
