I Don't Want to, but I Have To...

Well, Gamergate has spilled over into the mainstream media and the coverage appears to be nearly uniformly dreadful. Take " What is Gamergate, and What Does It Say About Gender In Video Games? " by David Konnow as an example.  It appears that the writer has done little to no...

Had fun! I think we each got 2nd place once, which was nice. As frustrating as that game is online, I think we fared pretty well as a group.

A larger GR party would be so great. 6+ people in a private race. Let's make it happen.

I was obviously teasing, but now I feel like shots were fired and judgments were made. Sad

Let's not assert that social gatherings outside of the tv are inherently better or more valuable than those inside, or whatever the opposite is. I treat you guys like actual friends; any commitment I make to hang out is just as strong as with any other friends. Especially since it's not so common for a bunch of random people's lives to allow for a common window of free time. Obviously other things like jobs/family/special occasions come first, but... well, you know what I'm saying. Anyway.

Yeah, I had one 2nd place finish, and a couple 4ths I think. ALFREDO. The one where I got 2nd place was when Alex got 1st. I felt like that was a satisfying victory. Razz It would help if UghRochester stopped hitting me with items all the time. >Sad I was helping you get revenge!

Sad you couldn't join in on Skype, used. Allegedly, some guy in UghRochester's stream claimed they were in fact Alfredo. Ha.

Ugh, cut the video. Delete it. Trash it. Burn it. Er, don't burn it onto something -- I mean scratch it. I don't want my stupid family's awkward ramblings on the internet.

Yeah there was just a little too much going on in my house for skype. I'm naturally the silent type anyway.

I'm sad that I didn't dominate Tick Tock Clock, I think that's my favorite track. I was in 12th place until the final turn where I boosted into 7th.

That's funny, because UghRochester was saying he felt bad for you in that race, and I asked if you'd played the track before. We figured you had, after catching sight of you using the clock arm things to get across (which I'm mostly too scared to do). I always always miss that turn before the end... somehow my brain can't remember which parts have ground and which don't.

Well, at the end of the day, we can always race against a pack of computers on 50cc. Wink

I should've jumped on, but I was too tired from work and everything else.

Side note: I just unlocked mirror mode - talk about weird.

Hey pretty sure I beat him on that race! Passed him at the very end, I think. Check the tape! But yeah I was way behind for most of the race.

I deleted the video. Sightless's family was in the background and she didn't like that as well as my mic picking up my earbud to hear her talk. Next time, it'll be better. Also I'm pretty sure that was when I was spectating, because I tried leaving the room to change characters as fast as I could. It only looked like I was playing.

Oh I didn't know it worked that way. I never changed characters. Koopa Troopa is just too cute.

I used to play as Mario but now I try and play as Luigi.

I love the death stare too much.

I used to play as Yoshi, but when I had the opportunity to play as Koopa Troopa I did, and then I could play as Dry Bones and Shy Guy!? Done. I've been playing Toadette or whatever for MK8, and sometimes whats-her-face-alina for some extra speed. She's kind of annoying, though.

She's your type of girl? That explains a lot. Why can't I play as like, Shadow Queen or something? For reals.

Just unlocked the gold tires and only 4 more cups for the gold cart.

The new Rainbow Road Time Trial is a bitch and a half.

How do you get gold tires? 3 gold star every cup, every class?

No, getting at least one gold star per cup including the mirror cups gets you the gold kart.

The gold wheels are obtained from beating every Nintendo staff ghost in Time Trials.
