I don't like starting over. It's easier to do, I could probably hit 70 in a few weeks on a new server if that's the only one I played on. I've gotten used to making myself at least 14s bags for my alts though, plus now I have 4 high lvl characters on one server and a few real life friends there. Why'd you switch servers?

Leveling is a breeze now. I just hit 28. I've been playing for a total of 1 day 3 hours.

Before the patch at a normal play rate (I.E. a few hours a night) it took you at least a weeks worth of play time to hit 60. Now I'll be 60 by the end of next week.

My main motivation for this is that I don't play on my old Alliance server anymore. I play with a group of guys on Cho'Gall. This is my first Horde character (I still say Fuck the Horde... their cities are awful) so I couldn't just transfer.

Anyhow if any of you want to roll or transfer to Cho'Gall just PST Borrock. There is a home for you in our guild.

I couldn't do it, that'd be way too much. Leveling all day, probably no sleep...and just leveling (perhaps grinding with some other people to level faster and then 70-80 just instance and quest.)

Then again, I used to run into people hitting 70 in 3 days pretty often so, =/.

^They made shit like that an achievement? They didn't have to encourage people to waste their days not sleeping and only playing WoW, plenty of folks do that already. Blizzard is evil.

Actually, that's almost understandable. I guess maybe not if you consider the later half of the 70's...but at least it's not as bad as the DK's. I've seen level 74's..=/

So I'm leveling a Death Knight right now despite me saying I wouldn't. It's actually a LOT of fun. I made him yesterday afternon and got him to 60. We'll see how long it takes to get him up to 80. I named him Dathalorn, he's a Draenei. I was going to go human for the racial ability since it rocks for PvP but I figured I'd give a Draenei a try.

I was torn between blood and unholy but after some research I decided on unholy. The mounted speed bonus from one of the talents makes traveling a lot faster so leveling in turn is faster, plus it's better for multi-target fights. Blood is very viable though and just behind unholy a slight bit in terms of damage.

I'm doing about 430-460 DPS as Unholy as opposed to 380 or 400 on Blood. Single target, mostly. I just like the extra Ghoul DPS and having the +20% strength glyph..

Yeah. Unholy is nice. I'm torn with stacking strength or AP though. Both are beneficial, especially with certain talents.

I found a nice DPS roation, it's pretty lengthy though so by the time I get half way through the mob is already dead.

Icy Touch --> Plague Strike --> Scourge Strike --> Blood Strike --> Blood Strike --> Death Coil --> Scourge Strike --> Death Coil --> Scourge Strike --> Scourge Strike --> Death Coil --> Restart Cycle

I usually just get to the first death coil and the mob is already dead. It varies of course depending on what I'm fighting - If it's a single target non elite, multiple mobs or an elite mob. I'll through in other abilities if it's the latter two.

6 out of the 10 first level 80s were from my guild. We got a bunch of firsts, including the first two deathknights. We've down saph the onyx guardian with two different groups and are almost through naxx. That's nothing though. The saturday after the game came out, the top guild in the world cleared every possible instance.
