Prince of Persia Movie

The trailer was released a couple days ago and can be seen on the daily news feed on the right hand side of this website. It's made by Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer, the trailer goes so far as to mention the Pirates of the Caribbean movie series, so you get the feeling they might be trying to cash in on this movie the same way.

The trailer does make the movie look pretty epic, kind of an Indiana Jones meets Aladdin style, but in all honesty with Disney putting their name on it can this fantastic game (The Sands of Time) really pull off the silver screen? What do you think?

Look at the way they put the trailer together this is the hopeful succesor (fingers crossed) to the Pirates franchise.

I can't see the trailer at work but as long as Selma Hayek plays the princess I'm sold.

Eh, it looks okay. The only thing it seems to have in common with the Prince of Persia games is the name, though. Which is a little disappointing.

Also, for a movie taking place in Persia, there are surprisingly few Persians and a whole bunch of ambiguous people with a British accent.

It looks like a fine movie. It also looks like a horrible adaptation of PoP.

really cant see jake pulling this off... just isn't a guy to play a badass imo.
