I was thinking of renting this from Gamefly. I had TONS of fun with Dynasty Warriors 2 and was wondering if the series kind of kept the same feel throughout - That is, really repetitive hack and slash combat against hundreds of enemies Razz.

Anyone give Legends of Troy a shot yet? I have Fight Night Champion next in my queue but may swap that out for Legends of Troy based on recommendations.

Huh. I've been so absorbed by Dynasty Warriors 7 that I completely overlooked this. I'm not going to buy it just yet, but if you like Greek mythology and history, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

That's the thing about Dynasty Warriors isn't it? It may get mediocre reviews but if you like the formula, there's no reason not to like each new entry in the series. It's the Madden of the hack and slash genre, without the good reviews.
