So much more than war...
By shandog137

The recent blog, Peace in the Era of Call of Duty  really made me think about war games that dig deeper than simply a kill streak reward. The first game that came to mind was Spec-Ops: The Line and although I haven’t played it, I began to wonder if it did the war genre as...

The perks of being a wallflower. If you grew up as a honest good guy in the 90s you will enjoy it.

The Adventures of Tin Tin

I really liked this movie. It looked amazing. My boys enjoyed it as well. Fun and entertaining.

I did see the Hobbit finally. Really really good.

So good, it almost made my dad cry. And yeah, he never cries at movies.

This really was a good year in the end, now that I think about it. A lot of good movies, biopics, action flicks and dramas. Hopefully 2013 can measure up.

I saw The Hobbit. It was good as a movie loosely based on the book. They imbellished a few things to keep it entertaining which is acceptable I suppose, but it didn't need to be 3 hours long (it was still easy to sit through). This tale could easily be a duology than a trilogy but I think that's more greed than anything.
