i loved it too man, pure entertainment and laughs. even though chris and i have this strong bro like bond goin on right now and i dont wanna break it, i didn't go into this one expecting a deep plot and brilliant writing.
just pretty pictures, some laughs, and a good time.
and it delivered one of the highest quality blu rays ive ever seen as well. sound and picture wise. _________________ The above statement is true

The way I see it is it's a little kid's movie made for adults (or anyone who knows video games) it's definitely a family film. You don't need to know the references in order to have laughs. _________________

BlackStar and I hated one another his first year. I'm talking legit hate.
We never talk about it now but we know what happened. It got bloody, we fought dirty, and because the old board are gone now no one's the wiser. Now I'd kill for that man. WR and I are like blood. The mods think I'm trying to bring him down--I'm really making him stronger.
We're building an army. We're building an army because He's coming home.
They all are. Look around you, it's already happening.
There's room for more. That's all we've ever done. To look for more.

The Adventures of Tintin
. . .
watch this
Lucy (2003)
Huge Lucy fan when I was a kid. Rachel York is amazing as Lucy, she gives a scary good performance. _________________ яёvоlт |

i dont know how you didn't like wreck it ralph chris.. i thought the story was really unique.
admittedly i'd only had the chance to see the first half when i commented before, and the second half was far better. once he met Pellelope it was all lolz and entertainment.

Finally got around to seeing Looper.
Wow, this movie was... well...
Pretty fucking bad. I mean, it felt like a chore to get through.
None of the characters felt likable except for Bruce Willis. And he's in the movie for all of 20 minutes.
I honestly don't think I've seen a science fiction action movie (I guess it wasn't quite cyberpunk) that dull in a long time.
The setting was really neat, and I really liked the overall premise. but honestly that only carries the film so far.
And of all the cool things they could've done with it, they instead make the movie about the relationship between an annoying prick of a druggy assassin with few redeeming qualities (until he turns into an old man, who is awesome but pushed off to the side), an annoying mother with few redeeming qualities, and creepy Little Hitler with absolutely no redeeming qualities. And it all takes place on a farm with zero cool future tech.
Pass. _________________

i didnt dislike looper, but it DEFINITELY did not live up to the hype for me. not a movie i'd recommend really, nor a movie i thought about for 30 seconds after it ended.
but to me it was still a reasonable movie. wasnt pure torture as i watched it. _________________ The above statement is true

Kick-ass was one of those films where you wold laugh and how awesome the Gorey parts can be... then cry at one of the saddest moment you've seen in a super hero movie.
Can't wait for the sequel! _________________

| I just don't see how the sequel could ever live up to the first movie without Nick Cage. It'll still probably be good though. |

Saw Les Misérables last weekend. Great stuff. At first I feared it would turn too cheesy, but it really sucked me in and at the end I was not miserable. I want to watch it again soon. Some of the songs were really great and Anne Hathaway isn't so bad in my eyes anymore.
