I am a PS3 owner and someday hope to be a PS4 owner, yet I am not at all dissatisfied with my choice to delay purchase, solely based on the current PS4 library. When I transitioned from a Playstation 1 to a Playstation 2, I was pleasantly surprised that I could for the most part rid myself of my PS1...

Ah geeze... is it really that bad?

It's not bad, not at all. It's just not as good as District 9, imo.

The only thing that's great about the movie is the art. The story made me fall asleep a couple times.

Monster University. It was a pretty good movie. I laughed a lot but there definitely wasn't that sweet emotional feel that you got from the first.

Fruitvale Station

A really really really good movie. One of those films that does the unique job of transforming an unlikeable character into a misunderstood unsung hero by underlining the importance of life and the tragedy of death. The main star's girlfriend was a bad actor and one cop felt a little too forced and over the top, but it's a powerful film regardless.

I have to admit, the trailer made this film like a tear jerker story about a victim of white man's society. I am glad i used all my courage and that i got proven wrong. This film is one of the most incredible work this year. Not a artistic film, but because it tiuches some deep subject based on an event just two station from where i lived (trained stop working all night, i had to walk home angry but went "Oh shi-" when i read the newspaper).

And yeah, i also hated that girlfriend...

Riddick

It was to Pitch Black what Aliens was to Alien. But still, it was really, really good.

I very much would like to see it. Pitch Black was fantastic. I'd like to imagine that Chronicles of Riddick never happened.

This one basically says that while Chronicles happened, it's not all that important (since it only comes up for like 5 minutes). So that was good, at least.

Watched White House Down today... it was alright. Pretty cheesy but it was a fun B grade action film.

The Place Beyond the Pines

Luke is a motorcycle stuntman who turns to crime to support his family. Avery is an ambitious young cop. Their paths intersect, lives are changed, and repercussions are felt years down the road. It may not sound like much, but that's all you need to know. I thought this was a very good movie. Might be the best movie from this year I've seen so far.

I picked up some movies on Blu-Ray the other night. I got Dredd (watched it on Saturday night), The Expendables 2 (watched that last night) and I replaced my lost copy of The Dark Knight Rises... which I might watch tonight.

Finally got to see The World's End. It was awesome to see Simon Pegg act in a way I'm not used to seeing him act. Nick Frost ended up being a total badass, too. I had a smile on my face through most of the film. Edgar Wright did a great job. Now he can move on to Ant-Man!

I thought This is the End was funny too.

I watched American Reunion tonight because nothing else was on I cared about and I hadn't seen it before. It was ok. It had its funny moments, but 'ok' is the best I'll give it.
